China trade fairs and conferences postponed amid coronavirus fears

Many large Chinese international trade fairs have been postponed because of the spread of the coronavirus.

The postponed events, including CIFF scheduled as late as the end of March and CHINAPLAS scheduled in April, show the effect the new virus is having on businesses globally. Thousands of factories remain shut.

The China Import and Export Complex, a venue of China’s biggest trade fair, the Canton Fair, has suspended exhibitions until further notice. For the moment there is no information if the Canton Fair will be postponed.
