Furniture production in China rises by 13%

Revenue in the furniture market reached $147 billion in 2020
As stated by MENAFN, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology revealed China’s furniture output statistics showcasing an increase of 13% year-on-year reaching 94.11 million pieces in November last year.
Overall, the furniture output for 2020 was 896.99 million pieces, whereas the total revenue in the market hit USD 147 billion (CNY 952 billion) last year.
According to Statista, the Chinese furniture market is expected to have annual growth of 6.6% and is projected to reach USD 158 billion in 2021 and USD 204 billion in 2025. The forecasted data has been adjusted for expected impact of COVID-19.
