More Chinese cities announce 144-Hour visa-free transit

The newest Chinese cities added to the 144-hour-visa-free transit list are Chongqing, Xi’an and Ningbo.
China extends 144-hour visa-free transit to more cities. From 1 December residents of 53 countries can enter China via 27 ports for up to 144 hours without arranging a visa in advance.
The newly added border ports to the list are Chongqing, Xi'an and Ningbo.
Tourists need to be transiting through China and have proof of onward travel to a third country, which includes Hong Kong and Macau.
