China will implement temporary import tariffs, which are lower than the most-favored-nation tariffs, on more than 850 products starting on January 1, 2020, as part of a tariff adjustment package announced on Monday by the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council (CTCSC).
Import duties for frozen pork will be cut to 8 % from the MSN duty of 12 %, and the rate for frozen avocado will be lowered to 7 % from 30 %.
